The Classic Conservatory

Inspired by British designers, bringing old world charm and elegance, Select Conservatories are the most distinctive glass structures designed and built by us. By incorporating architectural options such as finials, cresting, designer window grids, stained or etched glass transoms, and copulas, give the modern conservatory an enchanted feeling. Select Conservatories highly skilled team can build your room out of state of the art vinyl, aluminum or hand-crafted in wood fusing old world craftsmanship with modern design and technology.

Select Conservatories are characterized by a high level of individual craftsmanship that cannot be duplicated using standard components. All Select rooms are completely custom design and built. Adding proper ventilation to any conservatory is essential, our designers can incorporate a large selection of venting windows, sliding and French doors as well as roof vents and super-efficient, thermostatically-controlled fans to complement the structure and your lifestyle.

Modern technology allows us to design and build conservatories that are highly energy efficient. Conservatories built by Select Sunrooms attribute this efficiency to use of insulated and high performance Low-E glass, thermally broken frames, and shading systems.

A Select Gable End Conservatory can add real grandeur to your home.. With a gable-end conservatory, the front of the roof doesn’t slope back to the centre. Instead, the front of the conservatory stays upright, like the end of a house. This is where the gable-end conservatory style gets its name from.

A gable-end conservatory is square or rectangular in style, like a Georgian conservatory. This gives you maximum space to plan the interior of your gable-end conservatory. The gable front of the conservatory adds style and also maximises light coming into the room, while the height of the conservatory gives the room a feeling of space. The gable roof provides a grand and stunning impact both inside and out, and the front of the gable-end conservatory looks like the rising of the sun. This is often called a sunburst effect.

As opposed to Victorian conservatories, Edwardian conservatories have a more modern look, with square or rectangular floor plans. With its bold square-fronted projection, the Select Edwardian-style conservatory maximises the available space in your conservatory.

Designed to reflect the elegant and dignified simplicity of the Edwardian architectural style, this type of conservatory is often the most practical and efficient way to extend your home.

“The standard for conservatories”

The Victorian Conservatory is a classic English design and is adaptable to any house. It’s beautiful segmented appearance will enhance the appearance, and add a touch of splendour to your home.
