Colin and Justin Add a Sunroom

As seen on TV, a Sunspace WeatherMaster sunroom was installed during Season 2, Episode 8 of Cabin Pressure. C&J summarizes the episode:

The premise was simple: a 20′ x 20′ sunroom would connect to the main cottage, accessed through sliding black portals custom manufactured by Euro Vinyl Windows and Doors, the same team who re-glazed our front elevation.

Sketching ideas, we eventually settled on a high peaked ceiling with grey painted beams and exposed wooden timbers, stained to match the ceilings in the cottage.

Randy, our contractor, worked in tandem with Discovery Dream Homes to prepare the site, while master draughts person Jodanne Aggett (part of the design team at Haliburton Lumber from whom we sourced many of our project materials) eyed our sketches before bringing them triumphantly to life as precise, detailed drawings. As we’ve said on many occasions, we’re blessed to work with such competent players.

Fall yielding to early flurries of snow (we almost wept — so much for our summery ‘reveal’) we battled onwards then watched, in wonder, as Discovery Dream Homes erected the framework — then the ceiling — of our indoors/outdoors space.

In just three short days, the structure was ready for Nortech (www.nortechhomeimprovements.com) to install our Sunspace Weathermaster windows and concertina doors.
